Dear families of St. Luke CES:

We have just kicked off our annual school fundraiser! Pledge forms went home with students last week and our big dance-a-thon event is on Thursday, February 28th. We are hoping to raise funds for classroom, library and physical activity resources. Pledge forms and money are due back to the school on Monday, February 25th. Students will be rewarded for their fundraising efforts with some special activities and a raffle on the day of the event.

In addition to all the fun that students will have on the dance-a-thon day, there will be school-wide incentives for reaching fundraising levels. There will be rewards for top-earning classes within each division. There will also be individual rewards… Each student who raises over $100 will have their name entered in a draw for a $100 gift card for Conestoga Mall. Gift cards for $25 will be given to the student in each division who raises the most money. (The winner of the $100 gift card is not eligible for the $25 gift card.)

We are gratefully accepting raffle prize donations. These can be dropped off in the office by Monday, February 25th. Please remember to include your child’s name with your donation.

In order to make our dance-a-thon fundraiser successful, we will need volunteers. Help is needed on Monday, February 25th, Tuesday, February 26th and Thursday, February 28th. Please email Melinda Hannusch ( or call the school at 519-884-4912 to let us know if you are able to help.
