Currently, St. Luke CES has a large number of items in the Lost and Found.
Parents/Guardians, please encourage your child to take a walk up to the library to see if any items they have misplaced can be found.
We will be taking all unclaimed items to Goodwill by the end of the month.
Thank you.
Winter Weather
During the winter season, many parents are concerned about the school policy on outdoor recess. When the wind chill factor drops below -25 C, students should not go outside for recess. At St. Luke School, student will remain inside when the wind chill is reported at -25 C or lower. A modified lunch recess will occur when the temperature reaches -20 C. As always please ensure your child is prepared for the extremes of our Canadian weather. Please pack additional mitts and socks in your child’s backpack. If your child is ill and you feel they are not well enough to go outside, please keep them at home, as we are not able to accommodate supervision of ill students inside. Bring on the SNOW!
St. Luke School Hat, Mitten Socks and Scarves Drive
Once again the families of St. Luke School are invited to share in this festive season by donating hats, mittens, socks and scarves to our Giving Tree. The donations will be hung on our Giving Tree in the school front foyer and will be donated to those in need in our local community.
We will also be accepting gently used clean coats, snow pants and boots. Thank you so much for your generosity during this season of giving!
Donations will be collected from December 4th-18th, 2023.
